Thomas Jeffrey Hanks was born on July
9th, 1956 in Concord, California, USA, actor, commonly known as “Tom
Hanks”. Hanks was raised by his father, “Amos Meford Hanks”, an
English chef, and nurse “Janet Marilyn”. He was raised with Catholic and
Mormon religion. While attending Skyline High School in Oakland, He took acting
lessons from his best friend. Hanks demonstrated his acting talent as a
teenager and won the “Academy Award” for “Best Actor in a Drama”.
He then attended “Chabot College” in Hayward, California, and exchange
to “California State University, Sacramento” two years later.
Marriage & Children
The actor has been married several times in his life. From his first marriage in 1978 to “Samantha Lewes”, they had two children: “Colin Hanks” in 1977 and “Elisabeth Ann” in 1982. However, the couple divorced in 1985. He later married actress and producer “Rita Wilson” in 1988 and they had two more children: “Chester Malone” in 1991 and “Truman Theodore” in 1996. Debut as an Actor-1981
Hanks family moved to New York, in 1979, which gave Tom the opportunity to debut as a supporting actor in the horror film “Sabe que estás sola” in 1981. Two years later, he got the lead role in another movie. He also made his television debut in the comedy series "Bosom Buddies". Later in 1984, “Soltero” decided to move to “Los Angeles for Soltero”, which was unsuccessful, but got him discovered by “Ron Howard” and “Ron Howard” gave him a laugh for the role of “Splash” in 1984.
Since then, Tom has

efforts. He returned to commercial success with “Nora Ephron's Sleepless”
in Seattle (1993), starring “Meg Ryan”, and “Electronic Love Letters”
(1998).

the brightest stars in Hollywood. It is worth saying that his work was
successful. He won an “Oscar” once for his role in Robert Zemeckis' “Forrest

directorial debut with the comedy Miracle (1996). Later, he took on the
production of the TV series "Earth to the Moon", where he
spent many years. Hanks starred in “Steven Spielberg's” feature film “Saving

despite winning five “Oscars”. In 2000, he co-starred with “Robert
Zemeckis” in the movie “Cast Away”, where he was praised for his

on “Catch Me If You Can” and also in “The Terminal.” 2003 and 2004. In 2006, He starred in
the hit movie “The Da Vinci Code”, the movie version of “Dan Brown's”

in the United States, Canada and other countries, and more than 8.4 billion in

awards throughout his career as an actor and producer. Hanks was nominated for
six “Academy Awards”, including back-to-back Best Actor for "Philadelphia"
