John
Phillip Stamos is a comedian, actor, producer, musician,
and vocalist. He is a popular TV personality appearing on programs such as
"Full House" and "General Hospital" in the
United States. He had a very good image early in his career because of his cuteness
and sexuality. However, he worked hard to get rid of this image and started to
take on more serious roles. In his youth he worked at his family's fast food
restaurant and played drums on his school's anthem. When he was 15, he told his
parents that he wanted to be an actor and musician, and it was all for him.
John's
first success was playing "Blackie" in the soap opera "General
Hospital".' He is a lover in roles that have expanded too many major
roles in television and film. His performance as "Jesse Katsopolis"

Early Life
John Stamos was born on August 19th, 1963, in Cypress,
California, USA, to William John Stamos and Loretta. He
is the eldest of three siblings. He has two sisters. His father was a
restaurant operator of Greek origin. He went to "John F. Kennedy High
School" and played drums on the school anthem. When he was little, he
helped his family in the restaurant business. He watched his first concert
"The Beach Boys" in 1976 and decided to continue his music and
acting career. His family supported
his ambition and encouraged him to pursue an acting career.
Personal life and Legacy
He
married supermodel “Rebecca Romijn” in 1998 and they divorced in 2005.
He supports the discontinued "Project
Cuddle", a nonprofit dedicated to protecting babies, and has been the
agency's spokesperson since 2005. Stamos announced in 2017 that he was engaged
to model and actress “Caitlin McHugh”. They got married in 2018 and in
the same year, they announced that they would have a child.
In 2018, “John” and “Caitlin Stamos”
introduced their new jewelry line "St.Amos jewelry”. They also said
that the proceeds from the jewelry collection will be donated to the "Child
Aid" Foundation.
Career
His
first television role was "Blackie Parrish" in the 1982
medical drama "General Hospital". Initially, the character
only appeared in five episodes, but the audience loved Stamos so much that his
character became the main character. He was nominated for a “Daytime Emmy
Award” for his role. In 1984, he
portrayed musician candidate "Gino Minnelli" in the CBS comedy
series "Dreams." The show was canceled after one season.
He was part of the main cast of
the sitcom ‘You Again?’ in which he played the son of the character played by
Jack Klugman. The show was aired on NBC from 1986 to 1987 for 26 episodes. His
big career came in 1987 when he starred as "Jesse Katsopolis" on the "Full
House" sitcom. He played an “Exterminator-Turned-Rock” musician in the popular series
that ran 192 episodes before it was taken off the air in 1995.
As a musician, he occasionally performs with his idol
"The Beach Boys". In 1992, he sang "Forever"
in the group “Summer in Paradise”. Still on Jesse and the Ripper. He portrayed "Tony Gates" in
the medical drama series "ER". His character was introduced in Season
13 in the year 2005. He played this role until 2009.
He also branch out in cinema, playing small roles in
small films. During the 2000s, he appeared in films such as “Party Monster”
(2003), “Knot” (2004), and “Farce
of the Penguins’
(2006). He portrayed the character of "Karl Lindner"
in the 2008 television show "A Raisin in the Sun", where he
portrayed “Lorraine Hansberry's” character of the same name. The film
was critically acclaimed and was nominated for an “Emmy Award” for Outstanding
Drama.
During the 2010-11 season he made four appearances as ‘Dr. Carl Howell’ in the teen musical
comedy drama “Glee”. He is a regular on the sitcom "The
New Normal" and portrayed the character of "Brice" in
five episodes from 2012 to 2013. In 2016, Stamos starred in the movie "My
Big Fat Greek Wedding 2". In the same year, he played in the TV series
"Dr. Stamos". The
same year, he also played “Dr. Brock Holt”’ in the second season of
Fox’s black comedy series “Scream Queens”.
He played "Dr.Nicky" from 2018 to 2019 from the
psychological thriller series titled “You”. In 2019, he portrayed the
character of "John Wilkes Booth" in the Netflix movie "Historical
Roasts". That same year, "The Little Mermaid Live!” he
played the character of "Chef Louise" in a TV show called
"Chef Louise".
